All Saints is a grade 1 listed building which dates from around 1170. Over the centuries our church has witnessed tumultuous events: the plague of the 1340s, the Pilgrimage of Grace of 1536, where thousands of local people marched from Skipwith in protest against religious changes, civil war and social upheaval. Our church has been a place of Christian worship and a place of solace and hope through two world wars. Generations of parishioners have been baptised, married and buried here.
It is located in a beautiful situation directly on the banks of the Yorkshire River Derwent.
